I'm not an exciting person. Really.
Nineteen years old with an eight year old 17 hand thoroughbred named Eagle. We event at the current moment. He was originally to be my 'dressage
horse'. He liked jumping better, so we're off on the wild side until he decides he doesn't want to jump anymore.
Show name "I'm Calling Your Bluff", answers to 'horseface' and 'hey you'.
I'm a college student, went to the university of Findlay for a year and was a participant in their equine program. It was interesting and very educational,
but not the best place for a green horse.
I live just west of Chicago, close enough that I will say I am 'from' Chicago.
I've been riding about twelve years, but only seriously for the past seven. Started out in a western saddle as a kid, when I was 11 I got into dressage, at
thirteen I started hunters and then I switched trainers at 14 and got back into dressage. Leased a green thoroughbred mare for two years (15-17) and brought
her along with my instructor's help. I gave up my lease on her in August, 2007. Started looking for a horse of my own and got Eagle February 14, 2008.
The road has been a long, and frequently humbling one. And I wouldn't change it for the world.
Like I said. I'm not that interesting.
